ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using Junto ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Junto is a platform that connects people through sports events, watch parties, and communities. Our Service allows users to:

  • Create and discover sports events
  • Join watch parties for games and matches
  • Connect with sports communities
  • Purchase tickets and manage bookings
  • Communicate with other users

USER ACCOUNTS

Account Creation

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • One person may not maintain multiple accounts

Account Responsibilities

  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • Update your information to keep it current

USER CONDUCT

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content
  • Spam or send unsolicited communications
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission
  • Create fake events or provide false information

EVENTS AND BOOKINGS

Event Creation

  • Event organizers are responsible for accurate event information
  • Events must comply with local laws and regulations
  • Organizers must honor their stated refund policies
  • We reserve the right to remove events that violate our policies

Ticket Purchases

  • All sales are subject to availability
  • Prices are set by event organizers
  • Service fees apply to all transactions
  • Refunds are subject to the organizer's policy

PAYMENTS AND FEES

Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to:

  • Pay all charges associated with your account
  • Provide accurate payment information
  • Accept our platform fee (5% of ticket price)
  • Understand that hosts set prices to cover platform fees and payment processing
  • Understand that all sales are final unless otherwise stated

Event hosts are responsible for setting ticket prices that account for the 5% platform fee and Stripe processing fees. Attendees see all-inclusive pricing. We reserve the right to change our fee structure with 30 days' notice.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Junto and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

User Content

  • You retain ownership of content you post
  • You grant us a license to use your content on our platform
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to posted content
  • We may remove content that violates these terms

PRIVACY

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.

DISCLAIMERS

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement of third-party rights
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Accuracy or reliability of content

We are not responsible for the conduct of users or the quality of events.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no event shall Junto be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of your use of the Service.

TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
